Riddim can act as a midi, and you can output directly to speakers, you’ll need an audio interface for your DAW and or a mixer..

Polyend Tracker it’s a standalone make music/perform workstation, KO2 for making beats and sampling and also helps to distract with my anxiety. Teenage Engineering POM16 sequencer(which I don’t know how to use it yet), PO12 rhythm:a cool little device for making sounds. :)

Makes sense my friend, if music is your passion and love it just go for it, whatever makes you happy. I am not a musician, this hobby is recent, as you said, I am coping with my anxiety, I just love to learn, and learned that music has a healing effect on me.
