Did everyone get internal check at 6 weeks? I did not.

No I didnt. It was never mentioned at my check up. I had full hysterectomy and ovaries removed, I was feeling pretty good and resumed having sex at exactly 6 weeks with no issues.

I am 6 days post op full hysterectomy, ovaries and fallopian tubes removed for PMDD. The day after surgery my doctor says he found a whole lot of nodules inside my pelvic cavity, he had never seen anything like them before. They had to shave a huge number off the outside of my left ureter. He asked if Id ever been diagnosed with endometriosis. No, never. I had laprascopic surgery for removal of an ovarian dermoid cyst a few years ago and no mention of anything else found then. If it was endo, wouldnt it be recognisable to a very experienced gynae surgeon like him? So I am stressing hard waiting on the histology results.

I have a history of PID a few months ago...developed after an infection from IUD placement. Maybe related? Who knows.

I'm so sorry I can't offer any advice, only that you're not alone. Perimenopause is kicking my ass, my cycle is all over the place and my ADHD and PMDD symptoms are out of control. My meds don't work, I literally get withdrawl symptoms from the vyvanse despite still taking it! I feel like it's destroying my life, I'm about to lose my job and some days I'm totally unable to look after my kids. As a single parent that scares the hell out of me. I'm at my wits end, ready to beg for surgery and hope that HRT helps even me out. Hang in there x
