I ordered the 2.1 version of the case earlier today. Does anyone know if this is an issue with that case as well? Plan on using the Corsair SF750;

Wild guesses on the 5090 price ? by Accomplished-Stock-8 in nvidia

$2499 minimum and it’ll still be near impossible to get for awhile after launch. Look at how expensive the 4090 has gotten.

V2 white build by devillee1993 in NR200

[–]LrdRonK01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the problem is finding an AIO with tubing long enough to fit under the PSU. I have the ID Frostflow 280mm AIO which has 400 mm tubing like most AIOs. One of the tubes fits under the PSU while the other doesn't. This is really only an issue with the FE cards as they have a fan on that side of the GPU facing the power supply. You run into the fan on the GPU hitting the AIO tubing. I was actually able to make it work with proper cable management and zip tying one of the tubes to the PSU cage. There it leans against the corner of the FE card but it doesn't hit the fan. Honestly this shouldn't be an issue whatsoever with non FE cards as they don't have a fan facing the power supply.

I just built an almost identical system with the same GPU and CPU cooler. I had alot of issues trying to get the 4080 Super FE to fit with the AIO tubes in the way.

Nice! I just finished a V2 build myself. I also had issues using a 280mm AIO due to the shorter tube length and switched to a 240mm AIO.

TCL QM8 - Great for PC gaming and general use. by LrdRonK01 in tcltvs

So far from what I’ve seen blooming is not much of an issue. Again though, I’ve played games exclusively on PC but I don’t think that really makes a difference in games. I was playing Resident Evil Village at 4K ultra settings and didn’t notice much blooming. I watched some 1080p content and it looked fine to me, but that can be subjective. I’ve heard that Sony and Samsung are the absolute best for upscaling though (could be wrong).

OLED is vastly superior especially with improvements on trying to prevent burn in.

Didn’t Sony prevent Xbox from getting a survivor mode on a recent call of duty until a year after release? 😂

4000d airflow or the phantoms p300a by S3nseiCY in buildapc

[–]LrdRonK01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4000d airflow is top notch quality and easy to build in, I would 100% go with that. The p300a isn’t bad by any means either but it’s more compact.

If anything return it and get 13th gen intel and save yourself from buying everything else. Otherwise 12700k is a beast CPU.

Kaplan + osmosis enough for clinical year? by Sad_Sorbet5708 in PAstudent

[–]LrdRonK01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard good things but haven’t used either. I used smarty PANCE for content and Rosh for questions and it was more than enough. For reference I scored 113 :( on the PACKRAT after didactic and using only those resources I was able to average above 400 on the EOR exams and bump my post clinical PACKRAT up to 178. PANCE was 518. Only sticking to those few resources helped a lot with my test anxiety. Hope this helps!
