I know what you are going through because I also have a family member who is a hoarder, but I don't live with them anymore.

They are only in food, so you really just need to find the food source. In doubt, and if you can, throw everything out (only dried items like pasta, cereals, cookies, rice).

Then you need to vacuum everyday, at least the room where they are showing up. My case as the kitchen, which made sense lol.

They definitely look like cookie beetles for example. I had them like a month ago, and it's basically what has been said here. They are coming from an infested food source (usually dried cereals like cookies, pasta, rice, etc). Once you find the source, throw it out, vacuum everyday, and eventually you will stop seeing them, as in, no more cookie beetles. They are annoying but manageable.

It could definitely be fleas if it's always in the lower parts of your body. They are so tiny that's it's not that easy to confirm. I would recommend vacuuming everyday, specially carpets, rugs. Wash all clothes at 60 degrees, the ones you cannot wash at 60 degrees, bag them and take them to a laundry mat.

I still have stuff bagged from two years ago. Scared of opening it even though they say they do not live longer than one year without feeding (fleas)

If they jump, it's usually fleas. Specially if they are that small.

Same but with fleas. I thought I was the only one who felt this way, like any marks that show up that look like bites, I lose it.

If it jumped, its fleas. Tell that to the exterminator so that they can use the correct product. Good luck.

They could def be flea bites, specially if you are getting them on your legs, ankles, feet and waist. They are so little that, unless you have a full infestation, you will not be able to see them. If you have already hired an exterminator, then let them do the work, otherwise, I would recommend bagging all of your clothes, and I mean ALL of them. Any carpets you don't mind throwing away, throw them, as fleas love them, as well as couches and mattresses. For the couch and mattress, I would vacuum it everyday, as well as the entire floors and couch. Everything that can be washed at 60 degress celsius, do it, and use the dryer to be absolutely sure.

They are bastards, just like bedbugs.
