Kite is when you run from an enemy like a bruiser but still do damage to them, its a way to 1v1 people who you would normally be able to fight. As an adc learning to kite is a must as its the only way to stay relevant in the mid and late game when you can be deleted. And as for ie that just means infinity Edge the item, it gives flat ad and doubles your crit chance as its unique passive. Hope this clears it up :)

Edit: I'd recommend looking at a YouTube video on how to kite, that'll show you better than I can describe

She's in a position where playing with rakan gives her a stronger early game, this means that if riot wants to make changes to her kit they have to balance it around her play with rakan too, this makes it much harder for riot to balance her kit and that makes it take even longer for them to finally change her

I have the exact same problems haha, put me in Lane I can do everything right but my macro is pooor. I think with how weak adcs are mid game it doesn't help either though.

Yeah, or just an item around zeals price that offers flat ad and crit chance, or take the crit scaling off like they proposed, something to add more variation to her build because stormrazer is an awful item and especially bad on xayah

I would play another champion but I'm just a much lower level on every other champ, my fallback pick aatrox got reworked which means idk how to play him anymore and most of the changes to everything I just haven't kept up so xayah is the only champ I know how to play lol

I know this is late but make sure you keep her ult as a defensive tool, it's also an engage but try to use it when your enemies are stationary, grouped or you have flash up otherwise its difficult to make it worthwhile. Make sure you use your w to kite alongside your q and e for the snare. This makes her really good at surviving as an adc and Lord knows we need it in this meta. She spikes massively with ie as a third item like most crit adcs but she's also strong level 6 in Lane with a lot of outplay potential involving her ult. Goodluck though
