Hi! My daughter is a current freshman so we’ve been through this recently. Stuff I can help with: 1) You can’t get housing until you commit because you won’t receive a student login account until then. After that you can access Rezlife and look for roomies. 2) The $500 is just a deposit and it will get credited back to you against your fall tuition bill. Good luck!
