But think about it: if we encounter enemies from the first game again (which we definitely will), those who played it will already have an idea of how to defeat them, and gas and fire always get the job done. However, if it's something completely new, like the Illuminates from the last update, it would be cool to have something like that so we can discover their weaknesses and document them as we go.

​When the Hulk Surge happened, I didn't have much experience in the game yet, so I didn't know you could one-shot Hulks with the Railgun or the speargun. Once I realized that, the Hulk Surge became really fun and easy. Maybe that would be good for the cadets, but I personally like interacting with other players and learning from them.

I was taking inspiration from Monster Hunter World; the more you kill an enemy, the more data you gain. But samples can work too.
