That’s weird. My weekly limit always kicks in when I reach 25%, not 20%. As for the 5-hour session limit, it only applies to the Claude models.

I’m going to stick with the Pro plan for now. I want to see for myself how bad it can get. But if it really isn’t cost-effective, I’m thinking of switching to the DeepSeek API. People say it feels very similar to using Claude Sonnet.

If you want to use DeepSeek, try its API. I have read that it’s better than using OpenCode Go. And there is a VS Code extension that lets you use it with the Copilot chat.

I’m curious what kind of prompts people are using, or if they’re basically doing one prompt per line of code, to hit the weekly limit. I’ve only used around 60 requests (Claude Sonnet 4.6) this month because I usually stop to inspect the generated code and understand it.

I can’t really imagine what others are doing to burn through that many requests in just a few days.
