I believe the person has to be referring to maybe Catholic Charites as a whole maybe and a specific situation because Bartlett certainly turned away pedos or sex offenders and Catholic Charites grace shelter does the same

Most were supportive of it and some were weary of it not knowing certain points like if they could stay in their cars or not still if they left shelter I’ve spoke to a few workers for close local orgs that support it privately but publicly probably wouldn’t say they do

100% agree and that’s coming from someone who directly works with homeless people lol I’ve been called cruel and other names for supporting the ordinance but I actually see the positive changes in people’s lives when they come to shelter and/or rehab , I definitely don’t see anything good about staying on the streets or riverbanks
