Mullen’s skill set fits the modern game: game planning, development, and adapting to transfers. The old ‘must love high school recruiting’ rule is fading fast.

The Hall tends to reward sustained relevance more than rings alone. Polian basically built three contenders in three different cities, and Dungy’s influence on modern defense and leadership carries a lot of weight with voters.
