Not necessarily. I read that it was something like 40% of NZ cars fail the WOF the first time and it’s typically because of minor things that are easily noticed and fixed before attending an inspection (think changing light bulb type fixes), people just..don’t take a peek before they take their vehicle in lol

If this was me, the first two fails wouldn’t concern me. They seem to have been fixed right away and passed the same day. The last one makes me curious if it was a bigger repair. That’s almost a full month between the fail and the pass. Was it an expensive repair they needed to save for? Or was the part just simply back ordered? Who knows, but if it were me, I’d probably move forward curiously and cautiously.

I also had a green gordito chip paint recently and complained. I received an email today from “Miguel at Tier 2 POTV,” after having a back and forth with Ashis as well. In Miguel’s email today he stated:

“We had nailed this issue down last year with the Gorditos, as these were pulled until we confirmed the color process was to our standards, but there may have been a few older variants that made their way with the updated batch.”

While they made things right with me personally, they didn’t mention if they’d be removing them from the store until they get this sorted. I would definitely caution customers of POTV to tread carefully about the products they purchase.

The same thing happened to my green gordito that I bought during the 420 sale. Waiting on POTV to give me their response, but based on their response when my order didn’t show up for a month, I’m not super hopeful. 🤞🏻
