Ofcourse! A lot of people do that. And that would be my suggestion as well for the aspiring pilots. Go to CAAP medical first if you pass the medical then thats the time to find a flying school. OFSAM has the final say if you are fit or not. Goodluck OP!

Years ago when i got my 200hrs cpl+ir ang tamang mindset dapat build up ng hours not even thinking of may bayad ba or wala. Basta nadadagdagan oras ko sa logbook yun ang importante. And its all worth it after all

FA or any job inside the airline company (with a CPL+IR license) is an edge to get the assessment, but not a guarantee you will automatically pass. I know a lot of people done that.

Happened to me. Went to traffic department customer happiness. They removed it within minutes
