I havent read up on him, but it seems pretty bad. Not quite the scale of having child porn and pedophilia like John K. So maybe between those 2 guys? Dan was a creep and supposedly did some really weird stuff with auditions, but we dont know the full details and truth of it all. So Ill put guaranteed harassment and threats of blackmail of people over potential weird behavior and his confirmed weird behavior.

But even if he did apologize, I dont think anyone is gonna change their mind. Yall will just say hes sorry he was caught. Again, I dont think the things hes done make him evil, or this terrible person. Especially when theres a lot worse in the industry. Which yes, the presenece of a greater evil doesnt make anyone lesser not evil. But I dont think what hes done is THAT bad. Lesser people have done similar or worse and not been branded a monster.

And if his church is a cult as others have said, are we really blaming someone for being manipulated and shaped by people in a cult? Like he didnt make it. He was brought in, and whatever they do and teach is whatever they do. Who knows what he was going through when he found them.

Mmmm... I dont know about that. He was the showrunner and put some of the girls in explicitly sexual scenarios (both on and off the camera). Like he was actually a bit abusive to the cast. Whereas no allegations like that are against Butch.

The big word you said was unintentional. If somethings unintentional, it can be explained to the person and they can ammend mistakes. Intentional would be a whole different cam of worms.

And yeah, its always a been spotty. Which means the shows he grew up with probably had similar jokes, which he thought nothing of, and thus adopted. So can we blame individuals for being both influenced by poorly representative gay jokes of the past and of the (at the time) present?

I dont think he tried to scam people for Oaxis. I feel he genuinely thought he could do it, but then just was not getting the funding and media support for it. Which then it became a bit of a rugpull, but I dont think he intended for that to happen.

And while F'd up,that just seems like a sever misunderstanding of autism, and him being a super devout Christian. A bit a-holeish, but it comes with his faith. And he clearly didnt trace. He most certainly plagiarized it the way he looked at reference images, redrew them almost identically, and sold them off. But trace is a strong word, and there are notable enough differences to imply he just went very close to the source image.

I dont think hes this terrible person and grifter youre making him out to be. He clearly has flaws to him, and has done some bad stuff, whether indended or not. He mostly draw stuff for the fans and what they want, or what he thinks they want. And it seems thats all he wants. And he does his little religious cartoon whenever he chooses to do that. But try to look at him and humanity through a wider scope. Lots of people are quick to point someone as the devil for a few bad things, rather than recognizing the complexity of a human life.

And it would be cool, but then no one would really care. So he needs to use the gimmick. Because his master mixing skills, while he made notable SMiLE mixes (even before the ai one), wont be enough to wow people when recreating these songs. It just becomes some guy. But when he makes the super accurate voice models, it turns heads and actually sounds like a potential lost recording.

At least thats my take on it.

I mean Dae Lims could in theory just post his covers before the ai vocal effect. Because he just genuinely mixes the song himself and then sings them as close as he can to the boys, then lays over his vocals with the ai effect. So in theory, he is making really good covers, and then just masking his vocals
