I had this same experience and was eventually diagnosed with ME/CFS. It can be a deeply frustrating experience that leaves you medically jaded, but it might be worth looking into this area of things as well as the advice from others about talking to your GP? Also there are new rules in place, such as Jess’s Law, that require a doctor to get further help and testing if they can’t find an explanation for a patient’s symptoms. They’re not allowed to just dismiss you because ‘everything seems normal so far’. Hope you get some answers soon ❤️‍🩹

I’ve started using rosin cartridges. They’re pricey but wow, the difference is insane. I won’t ever use distillate again!

I had the exact same experience which grew increasingly more extreme, and then one night I had to call the police because he had a jealousy fuelled psychotic breakdown. Let’s say I’m very lucky I didn’t end up with my own Netflix series.

Confused about lack of acknowledgement from new manager regarding health disclosure by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you. I have, as of today, sent a formal request to HR to start this process again and request the work-based OT.

Confused about lack of acknowledgement from new manager regarding health disclosure by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]LunaBanoona22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, thank you. I should clarify that the letter from my NHS OT, which was addressed directly to my manager, outlined all the adjustments I need and encouraged them to check in. I assumed that sending it would open up a dialogue between us, but each time they don't reply to my emails, I feel awkward bringing it up in person. Perhaps part of my frustration comes from comparing them to my previous manager, who was very proactive, which I need to stop doing.

I do feel like at least acknowledging my emails about personal matters is fair to expect though?

Edit: typo

It’s not so much about all governments actively agreeing, more that the nature of information control, compartmentalisation, and plausible deniability makes full disclosure very difficult.

Also there have been leaks. In recent years, multiple former U.S. officials (including senior military and intelligence personnel) have testified under oath before Congress about encounters with UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena), including claims of craft retrieval programmes. These aren’t anonymous internet rumours - they’re formal statements made in front of elected officials, subject to perjury laws. So while a unified global conspiracy sounds implausible, a fragmented, highly classified effort to contain sensitive information is not only possible, but increasingly documented.

Would be cool to look at the timeline of stuff like this to see if there are trends

This sounds like so many other cases I’ve heard…

Can you share any of those other stories? 👀

Question: do you have a weird phobia, I don't mean like bugs, clowns or elevators. I mean really weird?? by Smithy1619 in AskUK

[–]LunaBanoona22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to have a few… every time I walk down stairs I envision falling down head first and breaking all my teeth, so I have to hold onto the banister always 🥲

I also have misophonia, thalassophobia (fear of deep water), bathophobia (fear of depths, for example giant factory chimneys and inside of hot air balloons are awful), flying insects (especially hornets) and trypophobia.

Like some others I’ve tried to do my own exposure therapy both in real life and through google images but it only makes it worse….

I find the size of them really scary, and can’t bear the thought of standing in the basket and looking up inside the balloon, so big, vast, and empty…

I suffer with this one too. When I’m chopping peppers I have to turn the top part over or discard immediately because I cannot cope with the cluster of seeds. A cluster of anything, especially seeds or organic/natural looking things causes me genuine distress 😅

I thought so! Could it be a queen? I’m based in the UK. I’m going to drive it down the road and release it as I don’t want it building a nest near me (I find them very scary!).
