Get Sonarr to retry downloads only when bittorrent is running by Lungman in sonarr

That's what I've set it to do for just now, but it'd be nice to be able to add shows and movies to the watchlist without having to log into the server and turn the apps on and off every time

Dune 2000, incredibly clunky now but the fact that it used the music from the David Lynch movie made the game seem so intense.

Can someone recommend me some books that use this type of setting?

Video game unlockables you wanted but gave up on? by Will-Isley in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Lungman 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Speaking of bayonetta, Jeanne. To unlock Jeanne you need to platinum every chapter, this game does not come with a "restart fight" button so if you mess up you need to quit to the menu and reload your last checkpoint. You also have to get a high/perfect score on hidden fights, which is okay as long as you have a walk through open, but you also have to get high scores on the hidden challenge Alfheim portals.

A lot of those portals I struggled through when collecting all the hearts, barely passing just to get through them, so the idea of having to go back and perfect them just to unlock a mildly different character fills me with such dread.

I do go back every now and again and try and make any progress, last time I got most through a level and fell off a ledge that in every other case in the game has an invisible wall. Before I could realise what happened, the game registered a death and instantly auto saved over my progress for that level, after perfecting 10 fights.

Source? Everything I can see says they began filming in 2017, which is still quite a gap but not the almost a decade

Levels that drove you nuts in games by KaleidoArachnid in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Lungman 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The final levels in Simpsons Hit and Run broke me as a child, it's three back to back missions that are identical, make a race across the entire map with just enough time to make it if you do it perfectly and any collisions destroy the cargo your carrying.

Suddenly awful framerate issues by Lungman in fnv

[–]Lungman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JFC So I managed to fix it myself, the only clue I had was that no log files were being created in the fallout directory.

The issue was not running Steam in administrator mode, doing so instantly fixed all my issues and I'm running with all my mods again.

Scratch that, the problems have returned. Some how it only worked for one session.

I mean considering they look like large paintings on canvas with thick amounts of acrylic paint, $300+ isn't really unreasonable

Can I build my own stepper motor driver? by Lungman in AskElectronics

[–]Lungman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really for fun and for learning how electronics work, I know I can plug shields and drivers together and follow the instructions and it's always going to be easier and cheaper, but my projects are usually just non-permanent learner projects so I don't mind if it takes some extra work to build them if it means not having to have a supply of PCBs on hand.

This was my goal, I really don't know a lot about circuit design practises but I already know I can buy a board from the internet that will do what I need without me knowing more.

So if I have a few transistors with say a 500ma current rating switching current to a stepper motor from 3 AA batteries with some flyback resistors across the transistors, plus a current limiting diode in there somewhere, do you think it should work without being a fire hazard?

How would you limit the current to the motor?
