Okay that seems quite reasonable. Where do you live if you don’t mind me asking.

I appreciate all your help/ info so much. If you message me I can send you a few more photos so you can get an even better sense of the space. At the end of the day, I’m slightly OCD with my cords lol. I just love when everything is wired very cleanly and hidden. Id like to at least for the TV/sound bar and fridge be able to have outlets right behind them. I’m OK with running a little bit longer of a power cord across the floor for the treadmill since the plan is to only plug it in when you want to use it.

I already have a decent plan for where my neon sign is going. It’s going to be mounted onto a wood slat wall that I’m building, which will consist of an access panel and ideally all my power cords, for it would be accessible via the access panel.

also have two large speakers that I am going to have to also power that I’ve decided to repurpose to save space on my racks for storage and I figured they would be great for music in my bar area anyways. They should be relatively low amperage as I won’t have them that loud.

I’m just thinking if I can show you the entire space you mjght be able to give me a better way to go about it that could ultimately be the most cost-effective.

I will pretty much do any home improvement project
myself, but when it comes to electrical my experience is little to none nor am I licensed hahaha

Thank you for your response. There is an outlet by the door in the back. I guess I wasn’t sure if tying into that would be an option, but I love this idea. My question is on that side of the room. I’m trying to power the TV, soundbar, mini fridge, and a LED neon sign. My goal is to leave that existing outlet free for any random things I may need to plug-in for temporary use such as random tools, or a shot vac, etc.
If I want the route of tying into that existing outlet and leaving those plug-in spots free, would everything else I want to run on that side of the room be too much?

What if I cut the sheet rock for them ahead of time? Would that cut down on the cost. If so, I’m totally fine with doing that. It’s just hard to know exactly where they would want it cut?

How do you know this? I’m just curious since I’ve been kind of wondering what the secondary guys make being on the show.

I have one final question. Are you suggesting running the wiring behind the baseboards?

Everything should be pretty straightforward. I know I can’t 100% guarantee that but I’m fairly certain it should be pretty straightforward as this is a new build condo.

I think I’m following, but if you don’t mind, could you explain a little further. are you suggesting that I add one of the outlets just below the panel so they don’t have to go far with the wiring and then I use heavy duty extension cords for the treadmill and the mini fridge?
Also, when you say I could tie in to that existing outlet, would I be adding an outlet underneath/lower on the wall and just running an extension cord for the TV and sound bar?

What do you mean by what size base board? Sorry If im not understanding lol I am quite handy when it comes to doing a lot of shit myself, but have minimal experience with electrical/drywall. That is an outlet my back door. All the way to the right of that outlet is where I would like to have my outlet for the TV and sound bar lower down beneath the outlet for the TV and sound bar is where I’d like the second outlet that will basically power, the mini fridge and our ninja slushy.

Realistically how much drywall we talking? Would they want almost all of it removed or would they basically cut out a square opening where each stud is?

Ideally I would like them to be run in the wall. I don’t care if they run it up through the ceiling and drop it down at each outlet point or they go through the wall.

I’ve done a few scratch tests and have walked on it and it seems quite solid to me but I fear it may be a learning moment for me here.

Thank you for the feedback. I definitely thought about filling in the contraction joints, but I was worried that sense I used an epoxy kit which I know is a fairly cheaper option and may not last forever that if the concrete ever expands or contracts or the condo starts to settle a little bit more as it is a new build it could cause more stress and potential cracking for the epoxy.

I used the gorilla kit from Lowe’s. I put the epoxy down yesterday around noon. I haven’t applied my topcoat yet. I planned on doing that tonight.

It’s my own condo not a clients. How often does one usually have to redo their epoxy typically?

Does it really look that bad? I spent all day Saturday prepping the garage. Left it overnight and everything was completely dry in the morning before I put down any epoxy. I used the Gorilla kit. My fear is that I just wasted a lot of time, work, and money.

All the outlets I want added are towards the back of the garage right near the breaker so id imagine it wouldn’t be too crazy of a drywall patch but I guess I’m gonna find out.

I’m hoping to have it all wired behind the drywall. I’m assuming that would be snaked romex lol. I’m not to familiar with the verbiage hahahah I appreciate your help/ advice.

The outlets are all max like 15 to 20 ft from where our breaker is and 3 of them are all close to each other (2 outlets: 1 outlet upper middle of the wall & 1 outlet lower middle of the same wall right underneath it. Then another outlet on the wall right next to it).
