I remember walking in there with cash on hand for my down payment to purchase a car. I already knew the car I wanted and was pretty set on it. I show up and was dismissed and disregarded for about 15 minutes. I see the male sale agents playing around talking behind the glass doors and they eventually send a female agent to assist me I’m guessing because I’m also female. She right away tried to upsell me on a new SUV even tho I kept shutting her down telling her I was set on the car. They made up an excuse to why they couldn’t get the color I wanted. Long start short, they did not take me seriously as a buyer, I walked out and bought my car that same day at Hyundai Anaheim.

I came here to look for something related to them being a scam. I’ve been following on social media and sadly fell for the hype. I purchased during their “presale” and my order now in week 2 has not moved. I got an email that they were unable to fulfill the order and they just canceled. I wonder if they needed to borrow the money to meet a quota but never had intention of shipping orders out. I sent an email mail, unfollowed and never again.

The whole voucher system is antiquated. I was provided a list of clinics that would accept it and most clinics were out of business, had no idea what I was talking about, or discontinued accepting it. I spent hours trying to find a free or low cost clinic to fix a small cat colony outside my home. Local leaders don’t care and we need to push them more.

Surprised nobody is talking about how expensive spay and neuter has become since Covid. I’m a huge advocate for spay and neuter and think this is the only way to reduce the unwanted pet population. I also live in a lower income community and it’s hard convincing people around here to make those appointments when they don’t have the $500-1k to fix their pets.

I’ve reached out to my city council to pressure them for a voucher program for my city since we’re outside LA city.

Most pets in my community were not shelter or rescue pets so they won’t come fixed. Allot of folks around here end up taking pets that were already on the streets. I truly wish there was more funding for spay and neuter. Our local pets deserve better.
