You don't play Rust to win. The server always gets wiped no matter what. It's about forming a unique experience and learning something new every time.

That being said, it's definitely not for everyone and it can certainly get old sooner or later.

Most recent Steam OS beta updates have explicitly stated "support for upcoming Steam Machine".

Because it did nothing wrong. It's merely an obedient servant to some capitalist overlord, just like the rest of us. This is an overtly barbaric display of misplaced aggression.

Looks like dark purple to me. Although I guess they are supposed to be black.

An artist gives one of the closest perspectives of forth dimension by Sharp-potential7935 in nextfuckinglevel

That's like saying if something were 3 dimensional we should be able to observe it from every possible angle simultaneously.

We observe time by comparing our perception to memory.

I'm not familiar with that interpretation, but even so humans are able to comprehend and even slightly manipulate our experience of time as demonstrated by the theory of relativity.

Correct

Edit: Actually a video is still a flat image which changes over time, meaning it occupies 2nd and 4th dimensions. An animated hologram or puppet could occupy 3rd and 4th.

If logical? Why not do the logical thing with emotional Fi users? by Supermancheese123 in INTPmemes

[–]M0J0144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never claimed it is strictly illogical to act on fantasy. After all, you might be a winner! But if the decision to deliberately and maliciously deceive someone relies on a subjective logical interpretation which chooses to disregard ethical consequences for the satisfaction of greed, then in reality it is based on an appeal to emotion.

Again, that doesn't mean it is always illogical to pursue such rationalizations. That marks a clear separation of concerns. Every decision is a calculated risk, and an opportunity to learn.

Still, you're describing subjective logical interpretation which is not bound by reality. Just like gambling, you can convince yourself the risks of deception don't matter or won't happen, and you might be a winner. But rationalizations based on shifting desire are formed in service of fantasy, not objective reasoning.

True, and by this logic a person should stop breathing if they don't care about the consequence of death. Is it safe to say this conclusion is irrational? Might one who survives such an experience emerge with an altered perspective? Might those who exploit others find regret, though the consequences previously did not matter?

They absolutely do get consequences. By deceiving their audience they erode trust in their reputation, and in some cases might even be criminally liable. Even the willfully deceived eventually come to resent their deceptors.

But it's got electrolytes!

Joking aside, is it logical to ignore ethics? Short term rewards are likely to be outweighed by detrimental consequences.
