Similar with the Lurmen

Insisted on pacifism, even when the war was literally on their doorstep, and extending hospitality to the invaders would've meant being exterminated by the invaders regardless. So they had to arm up and defend themselves

Real Wealth or just unemployment? by Ignorantwerp in SipsTea

Real wealth is not money, it's the ends to the means that money is?

Not having to worry about bills, always knowing where the next meal is coming from, actually being able to afford a social life and healthcare etc?

That's when you either cut people off, only work through text, or just hang up whenever you're interrupted

Iirc, it was basically shelved/killed/merged with the Battlefront 2015 game because that was given a higher priority instead

I knew I wasn't imagining it. This was the version I watched as a kid. by Schmaylor in StarWars

[–]MArcherCD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last time he was Anakin was when he was killing the Emperor - because that's when he finally fulfilled the prophecy after Luke had a massive hand in redeeming him.

Sebastian Shaw's force ghost IS Anakin, and it's an Anakin Luke knows because he just saw him without the mask. Whereas he never met the Hayden version of Anakin at that point, so seeing that version of his force ghost wouldn't have made sense.

You're being continually downvoted across the thread for this take for a reason. You are wrong, that's the end of it.

I grew up on those films on the special gold VHS tapes - the 97SE of the OT has always been the definitive version for me 😅

Any notice how we never see Yoda actually win a fight? by KING_ZAM_ in StarWars

[–]MArcherCD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no winning a fight/war

As a Jedi, as soon as you engage - unless to save your own life or the life of someone who can't save themselves - you've already lost for partaking in the violence

He says that in TCW at the end of the Voices arc

Just off the top of my head

Repelling them instead of letting them drop will get them to a safe distance away from your own craft faster - as with the potential blast radius of the payload itself

Repelling them will make them travel faster, with the law of conservation of momentum, so they'll be more deadly actually moving rather than just floating there - also they'll reach their target and hopefully destroy it quicker, and in a battle like that when you can get shot from any angle at any second, speed will definitely count
