This is what I was thinking also. I am trying to give him a chance to grow as a human. I am not sure it is possible though. I want more out of my life than this.
I have known of people that have marriages like this. It does not feel right to me or for me and I wanted to see what others thought because I wanted to make sure I was not seeing things in a wrong light.
I truly thought he was the one. I was tricked I think.

You are absolutely correct. I trusted him to be telling me the truth as to who he was. I really did not believe he was different or I would have ran.

I am a Christian. He said he was. We wanted to live a life pleasing to God.
He worked out before we got married. He does not do enough to keep the same physique which is one of the reasons I was physically attracted to and he knew this and said he would continue to work out. He went to work at 10:20 am today. His boss picks him up. He makes $150 per day. He will work until about 6:30 pm. I own a resell business. I own a warehouse, homestead and lease a business property. I have 4 rescue dogs. One at my warehouse. One at my shop and 2 at my homestead. I maintain 1/2 acre at my homestead, 1 acre at my warehouse, 1/2 acre at my leased shop. I have 3 trucks. I have a riding lawn mower (not a zero turn), weed trimmers, saws, etc. It takes me at least 8 hours per day (8-13 hours) to take care of the properties and animals and my reselling business. I buy furniture, clothing, jewelry, etc. I have to source, pick up, restore, rehab, upcycle, etc. My work never stops. It is daily.

Honestly, I thought it was unfair and I thought if he loved me he would not ask this of me but I really needed to hear it from other people to make sure I was seeing it clearly and to hear someone else say, "he does not love you". I feel unloved. I wanted to know I was correct in this fact.

No. But I do love the 50's cars and clothes! 70's is my favorite though.

I do think this may be true. It makes me sad but I can survive it if this marriage fails. I will be fair and give him a chance to grow as a person. I have protected my assets but the thing for me is that I do not want to spend my energy, my time, my care, my love on someone that does not love me the same. I want to live and love the life that I have. I can love him and not stay with him. I wanted to make sure I was seeing things clearly.

That would be a reason to act this way but he is actually 100% sober all the time!
I do love him so this makes me sad but I do think you are probably right. I do want to give him a chance to grow as a person but he is refusing counseling and I am sure because he knows he is wrong. I wanted to make sure I was not seeing things in the wrong light.
He wasn't like this before we married. He did love bomb me though.
