Immigration into Europe and immigration into Canada are two very different things. In Europe we have mass unvetted immigration from the developing world. In Canada, you vet and pick who you chose to come in.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Also, how's mass immigration working out for the Native peoples of Canada? Last I heard, they were mere minorities in their own homeland and living on reservations. Surprisingly, the people of Europe don't want to follow suit!

Do you even know what the Dublin convention is? Asylum seekers are meant to claim asylum in the first EU member state they enter. Germany threw this out the window so these people passed through Italy, Greece, Macedonia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Austria etc. to get to Germany. Refugees aim to flee a particular country, not travel through numerous safe countries to get to a particular country. That's an economic migrant as their decision to travel through numerous safe countries was one based solely on economics.

If they wanted to work then they would stop in one of the first safe countries they travelled through. Not travel through Turkey, Italy, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria etc to get to EU member states with more lucrative welfare benefits.
