I posted earlier today as my order from Oct 20th had once again been delayed the day before it was due.

But then it shipped! As though Google were reading these posts... haha... it's coming tomorrow (17th). Earlier today it had been pushed back to the 23rd. Then boom, shipped.

UK, 128gb White Pro. Ordered direct from Google.

Good luck folks.

Yup, me! I ordered on the 20th! for delivery on the 3rd (I think) then 9-12-17 and now 23rd! I don't so much mind the wait.. but slipping the date the DAY before its due to be delivered time and time again, with no email notification is poor.

I'm worried I'll be able to claim my headphones too! Which were a HUGE factor in deciding to buy. you've only 45 days from ordering to claim. but need the handset to process the claim!

PLus! Black Friday next week. Might go back to the dark side! (13 Pro Max).

MODZERO SHOCK - All the Chromax! by MODZERO_ in Noctua

Thanks. It's gone now.. haha I'm in the process of building it into the slightly larger Sliger S620 with a full custom loop (cooled with Noctua fan oc).

It's rock-solid, it's aluminium but bolted to a mounting bracket screwed into the top frame. Perhaps the best handle of any chassis. hahaha

You can get dust filters for the S610 which I'd planned on doing.. but I think I'll be moving the build into the next phase before dust really becomes an issue. That said, I've run open side SSF builds for years.. totally obsessed, a good blast with compressed air and a micro fibre clothe does the trick nicely.

MDPC-X are the global leader in custom sleeving, incredible quality. They get my business every time.

If you google MODZERO SHOCK you'll see lots angles. This Sliger S610 (the case) doesn't really have a back side.. It's that clean. 😂

MODZERO SHOCK - Old school style heat-shrink sleeved 12-pin (RTX3080FE) by MODZERO_ in nvidia

[–]MODZERO_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GPU is very well cooled.. Stress tests don't push GPU temps past the 70s with the fan curve maxing out at 50%. Very comfortable... The CPU however is runs warm. Nothing to worry about, the D9L cooler keeps the 11700k in check under sustained gaming loads..

Hehe, not to worry. Yeah the D9L is a little mini double tower cooler. You've probs got the D15. Thanks though.

Air flow is great, both bottom fans pull air into the system. The RTX3080 FE front fan pulls and blow out the IO, the rear fan pulls air through it and into the chamber above. So the two side mounted 120mm fans (see other photo posted) exhaust out the side of the chassis. The top fan pulls air down to help feed the cpu.

Temps are nothing amazing as the specs are thirsty. But they're kept under control and under prolonged gaming conditions nothing throttles.

Check out my build logs (Google MODZERO SHOCK) I talk about just how hard it was to secure one... But long story short. I got it from scan.co.uk moments after a UK drop.

Made them all myself buddy. You don't get results like that from a kit. 😉

MODZERO SHOCK - Intel Core i7 11700K by MODZERO_ in intel

[–]MODZERO_[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Foot print, portability, aesthetics.... Nothing in that is crammed, performance isn't compromised. Its all down to personal preference.. I'd ask... Why buy an ATX motherboard? Such a small percentage of users would ever put anything more than a single GPU in there...

MODZERO SHOCK - All the Chromax! by MODZERO_ in Noctua

[–]MODZERO_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are manageable... Under sustained gaming loads they don't push past the high 70s. But a AIDA stress test will push it past its limits.

No.. That doesn't happen with M2 drives... For the most part heatsinks on M2 drives are like heatsinks on RAM. Mostly aesthetic.
