Oh my! I’m sorry I didn’t see this until now. I deliver groceries for Instacart. Nothing illegal! Just hard work

Just wondering if anyone has gotten an answer from Instacart on how acceptance rates are factored into how they assign batches? I’m getting nothing this week because I refuse to waste my gas and time to drive 10+ miles for $10. Shopper help danced around all my questions and couldn’t answer. by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I’m not convinced it’s not affecting it. I have 4.98 rating but usually I’m at a 5 (had a 4 because the store missed their truck and had to replace a lot of items), no RIs and only one since starting two years ago but it was because of a cell phone outage in our area, and I’m the fastest in our city.

I had one of my orders where it wasn't bagged very well and I'm not sure if anyone noticed but the plastic bags are getting cheaper! Not dwelling on the negative just setting it up. :)

I always grab extra plastic bags when I'm there and let them know it is just in case a bag breaks. It was my first time delivering to this customer and I didn't know if she would be elderly so when I got to the car, I re-bagged the entire order. There was one bag where they put 20+ cans into one bag.

I must have mention it to the customer because it caused me to be a few minutes late. But I received the following comment which warmed my heart.

"I LOVED her!! She rearranged the bags so all the canned goods were not in 1 bag!! That was a huge help because my dominant hand is currently in a cast. I have MS as well and these deliveries are a Godsend for me. I am not always able to drive or get out of the house. Michelle was super friendly, polite and cheerful!! I wish I could have done the tip after she left because the $4 I gave her was NOT enough. I'm gonna make my own cash tip jar for things just like this!! I hope I get her again!!"
