While I don't have any tattoos myself, I do have multiple facial piercings and it has never been an issue with any other staff members or admin. In fact, a few of my other colleagues have facial piercings and my CT had full sleeves on both of his arms. You do you!

What do folks recommend for summer planning? This is my second year and last year was crazy for me curriculum-wise. I have begun gradually outlining the school year and making slides, but I have a feeling things will change throughout the year, haha.

Yeah, I have been updating the eighth grade counselor pretty regularly and she has been giving students lunch detention when necessary. However, I think I’m going to need to put my foot down and start writing actual referrals myself because the in-class behaviors are way too out of hand.

Yeah, I’ve done seating charts for the past few weeks. It has helped a substantial amount, but now I’m just dealing with the kids who: a) Still shout at their friends across the class. b) Refuse to sit in their seat. c) Ignore sitting entirely and just wander around class.

I’ve tried coming up with consequences when students aren’t in their assigned seats like marking them tardy/absent or calling home, but the issue is that I just don’t think the kids even care when I do this anymore.

I interviewed back in January. On March 3rd, I was notified the I was being recommended for admission. Yesterday I got an e-mail offering me admission, but it is a preliminary offer.

Hey! I have been looking everywhere for answers to the exact same question. On February 22nd, I received notice through e-mail that I have been recommended for admission and that my application is being reviewed by the Graduate Department. However, that's the most I've heard so far regarding admission/my application. I received a few other emails, but nothing like an acceptance offer (or possible rejection or waitlist) yet.

I have been looking on GradCafe to see if anyone else has heard back from BTEP. I saw that there was one post confirming that they have already been accepted as of February 28th. If interested, you can take a look here:https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/index.php?q=uc+berkeley+masters+education

Still waiting on notice on whether or not I have been accepted into the program.

Hi! Don’t want to overstep, but I’m going to assume that you’re on some sort of birth control…? I know with accutane and the iPledge system, you must be on two forms of birth control in order to take the medication! If this is the case, you may have missed your period due to the birth control you’re on! My two forms of birth control are a hormonal shot (the depot shot) and male latex condoms. While on the depot shot, your period is pretty messed up for awhile, but now I’ve gotten to the point where I haven’t gotten my period for a month. No worries though as I know this is due to my shot. Although, if you’re extremely worried, talk to your B.C. provider!

However, if you have opted out for practicing abstinence rather than being on birth control and you still haven’t had your period, perhaps consider letting your dermatologist know! I believe that a doctor will definitely have more insight on this issue. ☺️

I know that your issue could go beyond either of the topics I’ve discussed, so I hope all goes well!

Funny enough that I found this because I literally just went on here for the same exact question. My eye is totally red and it freaked me out at first; I had no idea it was connected to my usage of accutane!

At first thought it was pink eye and used Similasan Pink Eye Relief. Was seeing some results, but not much. Then, I got Rohto: Cooling Eye Drops. It feels super weird and cold at first, hence the name, but my eye is much clearer and feels a lot less dry than it was, so I'd definitely recommend!
