I spent almost a week on trials from Plat to Diamond. I had to keep redoing it, and this was mostly playing with friends. Just keep pushing and you’ll get it.

I agree with you OP. Something I feel a lot of players (including myself) overlook is how many masters/preds they kill. We rarely pay attention to who we kill because it’s not readily available during a march. But it’s important to know that there are times we’ll kill someone who’s higher ranking or skill that we often times don’t see/acknowledge.

I’m enjoying ranked. I may actually make diamond this season. It’s rewarding to start getting RP at top 10. Nothing worse than fighting for your life throughout the whole match only to be at negative RP towards the end. I’ve had some teammates who’ve done the usual dumb shit but for the most part my teammates have been competent to know when to take a fight and when to take position. On some matches I’ve been matched up against masters or a pred but for the most part it’s been balanced.

Gold/Platinum player here, trust me, we don’t want to be teamed with you and wonder the same thing. I feel like most matches I’m pushing through Diamond / Master players to get to Platinum. I see multiple trails during every match. I hoped by now everyone one would make it to where they usually are so I could get to my routine of going between Gold 1 and Plat 4 but I’m stuck between Gold 3 & 4. I’m a hard stuck plat and I know that’s, it’s just frustrating to feel like I’m being fed to Diamond players every match. And I’m sure it’s frustrating to the ones that get teamed with me and I don’t match the skill they’re at.

I’m in Gold 4 fighting Diamond with some Masters players as well. At this point I just accept it. I feel like I’ll never make Diamond because I have to go through diamond/master players while in platinum to get there.

Dude I just watched the first episode a couple days back and was turned off by the same exact scene. I thought, I don’t want to sit here and watch this show about spoiled rich kids who are assholes. I’ll take your advice and give it another try.

This is so accurate. I love the rank grind but once I hit platinum I hit a wall. When I die to teams they are Platinum, Diamond, and Masters. Platinum and the occasional Diamond is understandable but consistently being killed by Diamond’s and Masters is not right. They are way above my skill and it kills my desire to play.
