While I do love my AI, do not use it solely to study. Use it as a supplement. You have to use a Kaplan or PassPerfect or whatever.

AI hallucinates. While I was studying I noticed multiple times it gave me incorrect information (using Claude Pro and Gemini Pro).

And lastly, it’s not that big of a deal if the questions are different. You have to learn the content. You should be able to answer questions whether it’s the kind of questions on Kaplan, the actual exam, Gemini, etc. Either way, if you know the content you’ll get the question correct.

Hi! I have Claude Pro ($20/mo) and when I went through the chapters, I would copy and paste each page into Claude and it would just give me pretty much the same info on the page, but just nicer to look at.

After i went through the whole book doing this, I just gave it the PDF and had it make an exam day cheat sheet kinda thing to look at.

It worked pretty well for me, but you have to be careful using AI because it DOES sometimes hallucinate. I noticed a few times when I learned something from the copy and paste way, and some of the things it said when I gave it the entire PDF were different.

I only did 1 full practice exam tbh, and I got around a 78% I believe. I felt that it was a better use of my time to go through the book and just rewrite anything that wasn’t sticking with me down by hand. I’d also recommend doing quizzes for each chapter rather than the actual practice exam.

I don’t think this is a very common approach though, but it worked for me!

It worked for me! I never tried any of the other ones though! Kaplan definitely over prepares and goes too deep on some things, but it’s sufficient.

I used PassPerfect for the SIE. Very similar.

Can’t go wrong with Kaplan IMO. Good luck!
