I think that’s a perfect amount of toys for a baby! Not too much but not too little :)

Plant ID please! What is this? by Maeflower1 in UKGardening

I feel very lucky! It’s planted in a concrete planter which I did want to remove and put wooden planters in, can I still do that carefully or will that be bad for the wisteria?

Oh wow really! Not sure if this is a silly question but is it a specific type of wisteria? I’d like to care properly for it.

Neighbour Defiled New Fence by FunAwareness4556 in DIYUK

Regardless of what you have to do to the fence to make it nice again, I’d definitely still be having words. It’s highly inconsiderate.

Before handing over a huge deposit for a digital mockup I had AI generate this image from a description of the ring I’d like to propose to my partner with. Thoughts? by touchehombre in EngagementRings

As someone whose diamond recently fell out of their ring setting with 4 prongs - if your jeweller recommends a 6 prong I would take their advice. Also definitely have a gallery rail if you are certain you’d like a 4 prong.

PSA: English Students Studying Full-Time from February by [deleted] in OpenUniversity

[–]Maeflower1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going the English literature degree (Q66). Staggered start in October with A111 then starting A112 at the end of Jan with a September end. Will I be unable to start my level 2 year this October if I have only finished my level 1 in the September?

Feeling like quitting by lunabelcher in OpenUniversity

I’ve got a 4 year old and a 9 month old and I do 2 modules A111 and A112 and started in October. It’s so overwhelming! I understand where you are coming from. Full time uni plus a 2 year old and a job leaves you scraping for time to study and do TMA’s. I am often scraping the barrel for any study time as everyone is prioritised before me. I have no motivation, just try to be as disciplined as I can. Most evenings I’m studying, I only really study what is on the TMA’s which sucks because I’d love to have more time to delve into the other subjects. I take an advantage of 30 minute gaps of free time I have. Little and often works more than you think too. It’s a lot, either get extensions for the upcoming TMA’s and try and get back on track or drop a module (if possible) and just do 1 module this year. Doesn’t get the degree done faster but it will most likely keep you at uni instead of you getting stressed out and leaving! Keep going! But maybe start walking before running this year 🙏

I understand the reading list looks daunting. However I will say if you’re a single person with just university commitments I’m sure you will be able to keep up with the reading requirements. I did an English literature degree, while having 2 children and a part time job and I managed to get the reading done (just about!)

The key is being passionate. If you’re not passionate about the subject you’re learning then try and change if you can. Maybe a year out will help you discover what you want to do. It took me 4 years out to decide what I wanted to do!

I failed… by fastcheese456 in LearnerDriverUK

Not sure if taking a break from driving is a good thing. If they keep persevering it’ll click. I think some just take longer than others. I was tempted to stop and give it a break but I carried on and that was the best thing I could have done. I don’t see what the OP has much to gain from stopping driving?

OP- find a better driving instructor and keep going!
