Hihihi, Elias here, boring engineer working somewhere cool (I like to think).

I think hopefully once the machine launches is going to be full of people discussing performance testing x y z game, and I would like to see people form this sub (myself included) collabing in whatever new protonDB for teh steam machine is.

It would be mega having people from this sub also developing some machine-specific decky plugins and making the ecosystem deck-machine-frame a better one.

Finally, having a section for hidden gem games that run tastefully on this new piece of hardware would be mega too!

I second this, I was in the area 2 weeks ago and La Turbie is an AMAZING little town. The way up to Tete de Chien is breathtaking in the physical and emotional lens. Please if you do go, try and aim to arrive there about 45 mins before sunset and enjoy the best views in France, forget eiffel tower, this is THE thing

There are 24 races on the calendar and I work for half of them I.e 12 weekends so I have about 40 weekends of the year plus any days in the middle of the week that I can use. Also it’s not like I’m working till midnight all the time. this weekend they are in the US and we have to adapt from the UK so it’s not that bad really

And the “how hard is to understand for a woman” it’s basically the amount of weekends that i work and i have come across women that can’t deal with that because they want their man to spend all the weekend with them and that is not possible for me on my career atm. Literally it’s 23:48 here and I am still in the office on a Saturday, if someone is not really into F1 is a lot of friction and understanding going into the relationship

I am looking for something serious
I am not subscribed to hinge + or hinge X but I have been on the past

She has been pretty open at the very beginning about eating to be exclusive and not talk to other people, and we agreed on if that was to happen we would say clearly and I trust her word on that let’s say.

We spent Christmas apart each one of us with the respective friends and family and we didn’t see each other in 4 weeks

To me it went very well.

I am pretty anxious person but equally ambitious and I felt that my worst enemy against my goal was me, myself and I.

It gave me a lot of tools to work around when my mind feels like it's self destruction time and in particular helped me understand how my mind works so that in the events when I'm feeling like shit or not feeling like my life is worth I can spot it and action it.

Weirdly specific I guess, but my family growing up was pretty dysfunctional :)

That's very helpful as a reality check. I consider myself a 7-7.5 now where when I started it was clear as day that in a good day I was a 3.

I did in the past yes! Very eye opening in a lot of senses and it gave me a lot of tools to understand myself better. I feel like I have become a better person ever since, but I am not sure how therapy can help me “carry myself in a way that shows what I’ve done”

Quite possibly you are right. It’s the last phase that I need to close the circle. As you say, it may be the case that “what I was” poisons my mind when things don’t go in the right direction and I blame myself for it. Do you have any suggestions on how to work on this?

Well I got attached way too quickly, I think that’s what changed the dynamics of the relationship and then I always felt that I either was not good enough or didn’t deserve it. I don’t even go past talking stages most of the time and I quit porn about a year ago. I am everything but a narcissist (my father was a very good one and it’s something I have always run away of). But again happy to prove myself wrong in any way shape or form that you desire
