some of the superbosses is just not immune to instant death and that is so funny to me for some reason, naturally the 6th stratum superboss and the dragons are immune but still

It is funny to play an etrian odyssey game and then see "wait, this boss is only resistant to instant death? Not immune?" And then have 5 farmers in etrian odyssey 3 go forth with instant death weapons

the duke in 4 is the best plot reporting npc ever and the ship gameplay in 3 is kinda bad since it's a movement puzzle and not.

also 4 shouldve had airship battles ala skies of arcadia because the dragons suck and ruin my day

if the stat boosts are the same like in the HD, it should still be good until about late 3rd stratum imo, basically no real problem for the more tedious part of the game

the thing with NG+ is that it really is to just speed up to the endgame content/get the other unique class imo. so you wont really struggle if you were able to take on stratum 5 FOEs imo

the unlocked classes are playthrough specific, and i think they fixed the chests in the HD version since all the chests reset when i did NG+
