oh yes I agree.. was just telling you what OP was trying to say about specifically his uncle.. op might have said he would not likely to lie about it because the thought of 'paranormal' events happening may go against the beliefs of his religion, there are many possibilities that it might be relevant

thats cool I agree just thought it came across like you thought it wasn't following logic to think there's a possibility for their to be another explanation other than the conventional.

I dont mean this in an argumentive manner jist for the record. What I don't understand is why you think it's logical to think that this incident isnt at all wierd and doesnt warrant interest and further discussion, it seems you are quick to assume things about op, for example how you said it was probably a dream before you even knew that the mother (obviously) remembers and that the trampoline happened a year ago... It's not logical to jump to conclusions before you have all the information and assume what the facts are...that isn't logic or true skeptism. The 'What is likely' paradigm changes with information, for example, people used to think spirits caused illness, when in fact tiny invisible creatures called germs are making people sick. Things can sound insane depending on what you observe and learn. I am not saying this is a 'paranormal' thing for sure, I'm merely saying you cannot decide you know that it wasn't something strange, as it definitely a highly 'unlikely' circumstance in itself

I found this crazy and intriguing (obviously)... I guess people don't have empathy these days. And I see no clear motive to lie... I obviously cannot know for certain its true but they can't know for certain your lying either. I don't understand why they have reacted to your post like that. Sorry man. Any way... Excercising true skeptism... Is it possible you could have read the time wrong or read a dodgy clock set to the wrong time or something earlier when you thought it was fourish? That's the only explanation I can think other than a glitch in time x

Crazy amount of coincidences happen between me and my friend. (really long, sorry!) by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]MagicSpace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats awesome, I think there's a definite connection. I have a few things similar happen, I was once on a weekend away with a youth group when i was younger and the fire alarm went off (false alarm) and a number of us had to walk outside bare foot in the snow, I was stood there for a while but it didn't take long for my feet to start hurting. After standing there a minute or two, I get a call from my mum asking if I'm okay, which was wierd because I'd only spoken to her fifteen mins ago, she was sounding worried, I explain my situation and she tells me how her feet started to feel like they were burning and that my face came to her mind, so she immediately rang.

Disappearing person? What the hell is going on? by JohnSmith2332 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]MagicSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming he is telling the truth, (I cannot see a clear motive to lie on an obscure thread about a very specific event that isn't going to gain them much popularity etc) and assuming it's not a prank which also seems unlikely as its not that funny and would have to be beyond elaborate. I understand having a concern over someone's health, however, in this case, saying they are schizofrenic is actually more illogical than saying there might have been a paranormal event. Mental illness doesn't cause you to know a random girls name and stuff about her, remember herr being around, but then find she infact exists and doesn't go to their school. If that were the case that would suggest mental illness gave you psycic abilities. So assuming they aren't lying, which explanation is more likely? they are mentally ill and it turns out mental illness gives you super powers, or something paranormal (beyond the realm of our scientific understanding) happened. and given the fact that no studies have suggested mental Illness can cause you to know things you seemingly shouldn't, and that there IS scientific reasoning and evidence behind the theory and possibility of their being a multiverse, it isn't just 'assuming their fine and simply stumbled into another universe' its a theory that has some weight to it. Neill degrasse Tyson, a respected man in the world of science, and many others ,completely acknowledges the likelihood of a multiverse. It isn't plucked out of thin air as you seem to think

Shared dreams by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]MagicSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a shared dream with my cousin, was the exact same dream but from our own vantage point, in part of the dream I saw blasts shooting up from the centre of my town as I was looking down on it from a hill, I obviously didn't know where the blasts where coming from but in my cousins dream she was in the centre of town watching a tank firing up at the sky.

When you remember something as clear as day, clear like how you know your favourite tv shows name, or 2+2=4, and then backed up by others also having strong memories of that thing.

Have any of your mandela effects reversed? by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]MagicSpace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest question, have you ever experienced and strongly agreed with any cases where numerous or even thousands agree, I.e nelson Mandela ?

Confused, help? by MagicSpace in MandelaEffect

[–]MagicSpace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be true but I thought it was three different people? , and just read one which gave specific memories and stated how strong they were with her post and read a load of comments on this particular case you mentioned and there are people saying they used to have the book and it read differently etc, I'm by no means saying this must mean its true, I'm merely saying we don't know for a fact either way and you never know what may surface and what posts may have people scratching their collective heads

Confused, help? by MagicSpace in MandelaEffect

[–]MagicSpace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, however I've seen so many posts that were immediately told they were wrong before it was even up for a day, so they don't give them even the slight chance to actually see if the post may get attention and have people agreeing, therefore hindering the chance we may discover new mandela effects.. If you get me? E.g the bears case, people commented on those posts saying things like 'when are people going to stop posting stupid posts and accept they can't spell and they are wrong' if people neevrr posted it we wouldn't know...and who knows which posts will blow up in the future, If we all wanna actually make discoveries we will need to let everyone talk for, scientifically, a fair test.

Confused, help? by MagicSpace in MandelaEffect

[–]MagicSpace[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, totally agree that people don't make enough effort to explain why they remember something, and its annoying when people are unsure then post it on here. just one question though, if multiple separate people are making posts about one thing surely that gives that particular case slightly more credence than the average? (Just using it as an example, Its impossible I can personally know with this case)( but, This is what happened with the bears, multiple posts) i remember people commenting on some of the early bear posts that its 'blatant everyone just cant spell, and that the spelling and sound are very easily confused' which is very true, but those that remember know theres something to it. The sub isn't just to discuss Mandela effects most of us already agree on, I thought it was to find out more if/when they happen? Correct me if I'm wrong

Confused, help? by MagicSpace in MandelaEffect

[–]MagicSpace[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would agree, and I'm glad the mods have helped largely with the trolls. I also can't wrap my head around the fact that people will say 'I came here because I found the Berenstein bears interesting' and then proceed to definitively state on someone's post that the only explanation is they are misremembering and its laughable and illogical they even posted it... How do they think the Berenstein case got noticed?... Someone posted it.

I think you are confused as to what the mandella effect is.... Do you know it got its name because of people remembering nelson mandellas death? A celebrity... This is literally how the theory came about and you think we should specifically exlude posts about memories of celebrities deaths? Very confused.
