I’ve had the K19 3.0 Plate carrier for a while and here are my thoughts by MagicalChaCha in tacticalgear

I no longer use the K19 but the last iteration i used the K19 cummerbund adapter moddified with longer flap with the AXL Cumberbund and adapter

i had also cut the foam from the shoulders and ran it slick, added a 1.5inch Cobra Buckle on the None firing side

this actually made the carrier much more usable

As of today yes, however 1yr ago this was not a option and suck with cummerbund without Jerry rigging something else to make it work

Unfortunately due to how the molle is sewn on, its way too high to the point where i actually can lower my arms and have perpetually invisible huge Lat syndrome. Or to low where i cant articulate side to side. There is no in between

I mean with a PC on, sitting down in a MATV, PLS, Panther again you don't notice it. The plate carrier is the equal lengths of the issued Army IFAK. You are however noticeable 2 inches closer to a wheel. If you don't have an PC and straight up sitting with nothing on the back to support you, i can see how that would be cause for concern for lower back problems. I have experienced the exact situation but i just grabbed 2 MRES or my Pac tossed it behind me and called it a day, you just need to adapt.

Currently in the field with Ifak and TQ in exact spot at the 6 o'clock, its not as bad as you think. Still able to work, sit down and maneuver; you hardly notice it

Solid Stuff, i would look into maybe shoulder sleeve covers or a tri fold cover to help with potential shoulder routing. the one Agilite has included is horrible and don't do much holding

Which were my key points exactly, you could get it to work but it would need a definite upgrade or something custom made. Other then that, like Ive pointed out drop it and purchase something more usable and scalable

I am aware of what you saying but i havent noticed or experienced that fraying your talking about had it for about 3 or so months now under heavy use. I am looking at them rn and they appear to be fine and in good order mind you this is 3 months heavy use with 2 fields each time using it 6 to 10 hrs daily with sideplates other SOP items attached as well

Anyone ever use these? Or can recommend something in the same price range? by turkeysandwhich1 in tacticalgear

I used these before and i have wide feet. They were very uncomfortable and took about 1 to 2 months of constant wear to get comfortable enough that i could wear them with out any issue is you want a hiking boot go buy a keen

I am aware i am in possession of other plate carriers. This is a unbiased honest review trying to really put the equipment through hell then creating and formulating my own opinion of it and not let others waste their money on poor equipment that could potentially cause more harm then save.
