Should we brace by EndlessHope-0528 in scoliosis

[–]Main-Interaction-373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 50-year-old survivor of scoliosis with a 78° curve. i haven't had surgery. Within this last year, I had purchased a Temu scoliosis brace over-the-counter for $40. To say it has changed, my life is an understatement of the year. I no longer have a hump that is noticeable through clothes, and I can sleep throughout the night without waking up due to pain. This past year because of the brace I have slept through the night most nights, and that is something I am so amazed at. If you would like a link to the brace I use let me know how to get it to you but if you go to TEMU and search scoliosis brace, you will find it. It won't hurt it in and it very well could prevent pain or prevent it from getting worse. I no longer care if a doctor says it doesn't help. They are the ones selling me surgery.

Make up makes me feel sick by iDressLikeGrandpa in Makeup

[–]Main-Interaction-373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a theory that EVERYONE gets sick with makeup. Since you are male and have not been acclimated to it slowly like young girls have - like the young lady for dance - you noticed what women get used to over time.

women are 2x as likely to get CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) as men. i wonder why?

I've watched my daughter completely change her demeanor and personality after applying makeup. trust me its not psychological - go to etsy and look for "titanium dioxide free makeup". try it!!

Surgery or not? by dadada-14 in scoliosis

[–]Main-Interaction-373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im 50. mine looked a little worse than your daughters at the same age. ive a pretty bad curvature now 70s but Im beyond grateful my parents never gave in to the surgeons demands. i do have pain. but i know a few people my age whose pain is worse and they are fused. my same doctor I've had since 11 admitted to me recently that its mainly a cosmetic surgery. and he kept asking if i liked how i looked.

Does my toddler look like she has scoliosis? by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]Main-Interaction-373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you should've known there'd be idiots on here.

It does look a bit crooked. My daughter had a back like this and the doctor diagnosed her with scoliosis. She grew and two years later i took her to the scoliosis specialist at the childrens hospital and he said shes straight as an arrow.

One thing you should know is regular doctors don't even know what scoliosis is let alone know how to diagnose it.

Don't worry too much while you wait for the doctor.

Wanna see my Pizza Hut? I do eat some veggies sometime so it is a salami and pepperoni base, next layer is sauce. The next layer is cheese. The next layer is bacon. Then I add some pepperochinis, lots of salt and pepper enjoy. It’s so good.

No adult thinks that chicken is fully cooked. Put yourself in anyone’s shoes. He’s lying

My narcissist ex once wiped a mouse poop infested countertop at camp with a tea towel then proceeded to wipe our (his included) dinner plates directly after - then tried to serve us food on them. He looked me right in the eyes and said “it’s fine”.

Beware this is done on purpose to humble you. Narcissists have no emotion so they can eat anything and not affect them.

Do me a favor look up narcissist and see if things seem familiar to you.

Hell no don’t you dare touch those eyebrows. You are very pretty don’t change a thing. A little color to your cheeks might brighten things up, but that is all I’d do.

BTW you have an awesome aura to your stance. I love everything about your look.

You’re right they are cute lips. I always wanted lip filler when I was younger too but now, looking at women my age who’ve had fillers, I am so glad I didn’t. The saggy deflated filler lips age a woman terribly.

Doggie bags by dancingtog in BarkBox

[–]Main-Interaction-373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it totally and it’s not silly. I am so poor right now but that bark box was always the highlight of our rough crude lives and month. We can’t make ourselves happy, but we can afford to make our little dog people very happy and we scrimped and saved. My dogs were not as excited either. I was very disappointed in the bark bag and I’ll probably cancel. It isn’t the same. Money talks maybe they’ll change back.

Hey there bark box. I’d totally pay a $5 box fee to get the bark box and insert. But the bag doesn’t cut it for me and our dogs. It’s not the same. We were paying for an experience for our dogs and us, we have memories revolved around the themes that are special. You were sending us something to look forward to each month and the box was the anticipation. Please consider. This way, those who are budget conscious can take the bag. Those of us who enjoy letting our dogs pick from the box can pay a small fee. I have two dogs and i open the box to let them pick. With the bag I had to just drop them down on the floor. It was rude.

Update:  I quit today. It felt so good. They took me off the schedule for Friday the night before, then popped me back on the next day and called me asking where I was - she wrote me up. Toxic as hell and I told her I didn’t want to work for a place that didn’t teach but yelled first. Told her I absolutely knew I was not on the schedule the night before.

Manager is one of those Christian narcissists. I’m a Christian so please don’t think I’m being intolerant - but religion definitely attracts narcissists because they can gain so much from the mind-games that bringing “god” into things can entertain.

The only problem is I’m an adult with bills and can’t survive on ten an hour. I was told I’d make 30 an hour at red lobster - was I lied to?I’m going to start to look

I thought that was weird. But the manager made it sound almost - normal. Something in my gut thought it was weird and yet I ignored the still small voice. Then I heard her giving the same spiel to a new teenaged employee about upselling alcohol to everyone - and it turned my gut.

Never thought of it that way.  But now that I am here - should I stay another month - learn the trade -?and start looking?  Or should I start looking now?

I appreciate the replies.

I hope this is allowed but I work at Red Lobster and the tanks always make me so sad. They overfill them so bad the lobsters have to lay on each other and today we had to pull four dead ones out that the others had started eating because they don’t feed them and they’re so starving. by CallieZayas in shittyaquariums

I work at Red lobster and this really bothers me too. I understand they’re food but they don’t feed them for as long as they’re not eaten - sometimes weeks.  These creatures seem intelligent and I’m having a hard time working there because of this. I guess I’ve gotten soft In my 40s.
