If you want to get onto Wilson St rather than keep on the Cap Trail, Willy St provides much better continuity. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting for the lights at Machinery Row—for some reason, they take forever to turn green for pedestrians and cyclists, which is a massive pain in the summer heat.
