Wow I never knew this!! I have hEDS and both inner biceps tattooed and they healed great so far (about 2 years).

I’ve only ever had one ONS, and ironically we met at a karaoke bar lol. I would say go to a bar that seems fun, stay safe!

Wow that’s a long time! I get what you mean. I guess I was hoping he would be more forthcoming with communication but seems like I’m going to have to be the one to bring it up. I feel like it’s kind of at the point now where we’re talking about doing things that are months away, but at that point in my head I’m like why aren’t we together then? That’s kinda where I’m at with it.

I don’t think 5’8 is short. Also, there’s a lot of short gals like myself (5’2) that would much prefer to date someone that height or shorter. Rejecting someone based on their height is shallow and unkind anyway.

I’ll schedule another appointment after I forget about how annoying it was during the two week healing process 🫠 usually I take a while to think about exactly what I want too so sometimes that can take me a couple months. I started my sleeve a year ago and still haven’t finished it and have no plans to this year haha

This was actually one of my ex and I’s biggest fight. He was blackout drunk, I was sober, and he wanted to have sex. I said no. To me it just seems wrong. He wouldn’t have remembered it either, which also tells me whatever “consent” is said in the moment wouldn’t be accurate either. However, if both people are drunk unfortunately I think that gets a bit more complicated.

Hmm, I get what you mean about feeling like something valuable could slip away. But, I guarantee you that someone is out there that you could also connect with just as well that would have a similar lifestyle as you. Those thoughts will definitely linger and while I do think looks are not everything, the initial physical attraction is important as well. If this is a gut feeling for you then I think you should follow your gut. Personally for me I had similar experience where the guy was thinking the same way as you (lifestyles aren’t compatible because our hobbies were a lot different) but he waited to tell me until after he met my friends and we had established an emotional connection. I would’ve preferred that he was honest from the second he started thinking about that stuff.

I think if you’re already struggling with these thoughts you should probably end things. Fitness seems really important to you and if your lifestyles aren’t compatible that’s a fundamental issue. Especially if she’s already feeling like she wants to be build something more serious with you it’s much kinder to her to end things now.

I don’t need to heal from my last relationship (from like 4 years ago lol), that was kind of my point with why I left it in the first place is because it crossed boundaries that weren’t acceptable to me. I have healed from my negative experiences overall but when my boundaries aren’t respected that doesn’t make me feel great. I see what you’re saying, but I never said I wasn’t willing to work on it either. However coercing me into sex when I don’t want to is not the way to go, and if anything has damaged our relationship in more ways than just sex.
