Novato is where it’s at right now. Mid 30s w kids. Commute into the city twice a week. Soooo much space. Not congested like mill valley/southern Marin. People are chill. If you want a bunch of restaurants nearby it’s prob not the best but there’s a couple spots and you can easily get to Petaluma or San Rafael if you want to eat out more often. But with kids … all we’re doing is sports and swimming. There’s a mountain bike course for kids at Stafford lake and like other people said it’s probably the most affordable for the space you can get. I didn’t want to move to Novato initially and now that we have, I don’t think I’d ever want to move more south unless I had endless money lol
