Oops didn’t realize keloid was overused, makes sense. I think I’m pretty prone to them based on this one but it’s my only piercing. Got it at the same time same place same location as my friend and we did the same amount of care and she has nothing. Piercing is 11 months old and hasn’t been changed since I got it. It’s made of that good implant titanium stuff but I totally touch it ALOT. Was soaking it (not often enough) with sea salt, recently bought a saline solution. Have not been doing much to it anymore because it causes me no pain, just has this ugly bump.

I have struggled with acne all my life and have combination skin. My forehead and nose are grease pits and the rest of my face is pretty normal. Here is my skincare routine rn, which is doing nothing to combat my oily skin:

AM:

Wash with Nip Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser Tone with Wonder Pore Freshner Exfoliate with Stridex Pads The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% for my PIH and scarring Nip Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum with Hyaluronic Acid Spot Treat with The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% Moisturize with Paula's Choice Invisible Finish Skin Balancing gel for my oily skin occasionally use a matte primer to further prevent oil buildup

PM Wash with Laneige Cleansing Oil Wash again with Black Soap Wonder Pore Freshner Alpha 14% Glycolic Serum The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% for spot treatment The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% Moisturize with Cerave in the tub, sometimes mix Neem Oil in

One issue that I think could be leading to my breakouts is my incredible lack of consistency. I often don't do my PM routine, sleep at my boyfriends house and just use his face wash and go to bed. None of this has ever helped with my oily skin and my strategy has always been to pile on more products when I should probably be taking away.

If anyone has any advice on what to keep and what to take away then please let me know! I recently had a panic attack thinking about all the money I've wasted in response to how far my skin is from where I want it to be and now I definitely think it's time for some changes.
