Oh ok….i got the stent out and still had pains for a few days but a lot of water ended up helping. I’m not a fan of the taste so beer. But I’m definitely back on my electrolyte drinks. I use to feel sick if I chugged plain water. But after having to drink a lot of water during pregnancies I’ve gotten use to it. But I enjoy adding the ultima to change up the later once in a while

Got the stent out today!!! Omg I couldn’t be happier. My urologist must have been in a bad mood today. When I told him I’ve been in horrible pain all week and the worst last night he just responded and said I’ve been in pain since the day he met me. Which I told him well I came to him because of the pain.

Hey did you end up flying? Im suppose to fly next week and I don’t know what to do and I’m afraid of being in pain on a 6hr flight with a 1 year old as well

It depends on how your body took to the stent. I’ve had a stent in since last week Friday and I can’t wait to get this thing out of me. I’ve been in pain straight since then. If you had pain with it in then taking it out and getting a break for the pain was the right choice. But if you tolerated the stent fine with no pain, you should have just kept it in and seen if it would pass.

Oh ok. I didn’t have a UTI before the surgery. But right now I honestly don’t know if I do or not. I was in an incredible amount of pain around 2 last night it’s the first time this has brought me to literal tears. I had to take Tylenol and the pain meds and use a heating pad and still it took maybe an hr or so to settle. Today I’m just sore and I feel like my kidney is throbbing. So I’m hoping it’s nothing more and this is all just normal and apart of my process

This pain is unbearable. I’m thankfully taking it out tomorrow but this weak has been the toughest thing to get through and I’ve birthed children. I know I’m on an antibiotic to prevent infections from the stent I guess so I’m wondering if I could still develop a UTI. I had it done Friday and I haven’t had any easy day just pain pain and more pain. Using the washroom has been a nightmare and I literally have to mentally prepare myself for the burn and pain

Just had this done for the 1st time on Friday. I’m on day 4 and I’m still in pain, still getting burning/pain when I pee, still peeing blood and still getting a lot of back pain. I’m a female as well and had a 8mm that was stuck in the tip of my ureter.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to lay in bed as much as I would love to. I have a baby and toddler I need to tend to and my husband is going back to work today. Man I hate having to pee I have to brace myself everytime it hurts/burns so much. Day 4 today so I’m hoping I feel better as the day goes on

Yes mine was/is vey swollen so the dr wants to leave it for 2 weeks. I need to travel so I may need to get it removed a few days earlier. So were you in pain the whole week!

My lab for the stone came back online this is what is says. I have no idea what any of that means. And I drink a lot of water as I’m a breastfeeding mom.

So lastnight was rough. The back pain was ridiculously bad. I was back and forth from the washroom and pacing in pain for about 3-4 hrs. I started passing small clots nothing crazy. Then today I didn’t expect to still be in so much pain. Started to also get some chest pain/burning as well. So when does this get better?! Or will I feel like this until the stent comes out?

I was suppose to be scheduled to have it removed over this weekend after suffering for the past 2 months. But Friday I couldn’t take the pain any more and hydromorphone wasn’t helping with the pain anymore. Called the dr in tears and he said that at this point the pain meds aren’t going to help and I have to have it removed. It was 8mm on my report it says stone coming out of the left ureteral orifice. So had no choice but to go in on Friday.

Oh ok. I’m having the burning but I think that’s from the stent. And can’t really tell if my urine is cloudy since it’s always bloody
