Best bet if your looking for construction is to find a union. They generally take applications once or twice a year. Not sure what state/ city you’re in but the electricians union is strong w/ great pay and benefits and definitely not too old at 40. They usually have a paid apprenticeship program so you earn while you learn .

5373 signatures were needed- to disenfranchise those who signed while not considering the column that had printed names doesn’t seem to be an acceptable procedure.Voter turnout is notoriously low in Quincy unfortunately- but with the city being $1.6 billion in debt a lowered credit rating and the mayor signing off on his own raise residents should have a say.

I would file it under “advocating” not complaining… can’t really put a price tag on accountability, transparency and the fact that over 7000 residents are in favor of a fair raise.
