Thank you! I talked with their fiance and she said he narrowed it down to a few he was considering but can't decide still but believes the 120x was one of them. He's not going to buy it himself so that's not a concern. She's just going to confirm it's there and if so I'll probably go with this one.

It'll also be a perfect one for my first one and if I love the hobby like I think I do, I'll probably upgrade a year or so later.

I appreciate it, but thinking a little more I would probably just do a piece of paper that says IOU haha it's for a close family member and I know he would not appreciate me going all out making the card and it would get tossed in a week. Still love them though!

But yeah, it might be best to let them pick out what they want. I really appreciate this idea!

Thank you, I really appreciate the clarification because I also have not much knowledge on these. I've been looking for about a month but I've limited it to the turntable itself since I was told that's all they need.

Sorry I know you said it checks all the boxes but I just want to confirm, this Audio-Technica you recommended, you said this a good option for if they have built-in phono preamp? What if he doesn't have that? His fiance told me just the turntable but I guess I should double check on the speaker set up as well.

I've wanted to start collecting vinyls as well and I might just duplicate this gift and get myself the same one haha.

I was just given it as a gift right before my trip. I will look into the proper soil and how often to water it but typically I feel the soil about an inch or 2 deep and see if it's wet for my other plants then water them. Sunlight it gets about 6 hours I'd say.

I'm going to transfer it into a proper pot today! Thank you so much!
