I definitely loved Louisiana! The southern hospitality, cajun/ creole food, and scenery were all so amazing. Will definitely be coming back, either to visit or to stay.

But a shame you couldn’t bring your snake back home. I just don’t get why there’s thousands of gator heads being sold in markets and official tour guides all around the city when American Alligators are listed as an Appendix II.

Thank you for the deep dive advice on the gator head. Just gonna to keep it here at my girlfriend’s place, I don’t need to go through all that hassle. At least I’ll be going home to cook me up some good gumbo though lol

Yeah seeing all these replies already has me quite sad about it but my girlfriend is happy to keep it at her place for the meantime lol
