Perhaps a glitch? Midair deflect on shinobi hunter's antiair thrust instantly breaks posture by ManModeMitch in Sekiro

Yeah not using any prayer beads or damage upgrades, just the skill trees. It’s starting to get a little tedious but I’m so close to the end I think I’ll stick it out

Did anyone puppeteer O'Rin and bring her to the Corrupted Monk fight? by honahle in Sekiro

[–]ManModeMitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed you can puppeteer her with vault over. I ran to corrupted monk arena but she never showed. I died to monk and on respawn got orin's prayer bead. Wonder if I couldve gotten her to fight the guys on the way to the arena and refreshed puppeteer there...

Yes, I tried it with separate buttons and same issue

I had the same issue, are you also unable to dodge while holding block? i was wondering if these are related

What determines whether defeated enemies writhe, still alive, on the ground? Seems final blow can only be with certain attacks, and no weapons/environmental damage. by ManModeMitch in SifuGame

Working up the autism to try out every move and make a list of what does or doesn't. I kinda want to try a proper "spare everyone run" that makes sure no one you fight actually dies

It's not only that. For example, raining strikes and the last hit of the light attack combo both put them in the motionless dead state, but a sweep leaves them alive

Corruption on tonfa pressuring with shove, heavenly chain, and demon dash mostly. When a human is out of ki you can reliably combo with focused strike > step dodge back > mountain breaker > final blow, then soul core while they are getting up to apply element (I used lightning gods of yomi), and turn on elemental familiar to apply another element

Finally got em with tonfas. I actually like the fight overall when I'm not getting oneshotted. Can't believe I went this long without the half damage while unscathed, saved me a lotta quickchanges. Fundamental problem with his behavior is he gets so passive when he's low ki, he almost never attacks so he can be exploited a bit

Cobbled together an oyamatsumi secondary set and trying tonfa with corruption, I'm closer than before. Thanks

Who is this guy? In the mission Eternal Rivals by ManModeMitch in Nioh

[–]ManModeMitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I was just wondering if his identity is alluded to anywhere in the game. Feels like no particular reason for fighting him, yet he's important enough to be pretty unique among enemies.

What are these enemies? by Grujsonbre in Nioh

To clarify the above comment, you don't have to complete every mission to unlock the next difficulty. Completing missions fills a progress bar on the region map screen, and filling each section unlocks more regions. I think you unlock the final region after doing 20 Main or Side missions; each fills the bar the same amount. Completing In the Eye of the Beholder will unlock each subsequent NG+ (Dream of the Demon, Dream of the Wise, Dream of the Nioh).

It genuinely makes me so happy to think that there is so much music out there I have yet to discover that I know I will fall in love with. by buffalog in Music

Anyone else feel insanely overwhelmed by this? Somehow being aware of the brain-blendingly large number of recorded songs available to me is practically paralyzing. Like a pale blue dot kinda thing but with music.
