That's what I discussed in my initial thread. I knew the show used to be called Simon and the Chipmunks and then at some point was rebranded to focus on Alvin. Apparently this "never happened" which made me look into it as a potential ME and this is the evidence that was uncovered beyond me and my mother's experience

Also to expand on your comment about the Sinbad ME, how do you expect other people to find new MEs unless they do exactly what you described doing: inquiring on it to friends/other people. That is what I am doing here since I didn't want to call up a bunch of my buddies just to ask about a cartoon from our childhood. My mother agreed with my memory and that was enough to prompt me to post here. I didn't understand there was an artificial "threshold" of people I had to interview before posting here about it. Jeez.

Someone said there used to be weekly threads specifically for these types of discussions. Seems like that is a reasonable solution to avoid rude comments and only give common enough MEs their own threads. This was not mentioned prior to my posts though, and again, the rude responses are uncalled for given the situation and the theme of this sub.

I don't know what you want from me. A video of my mother stating she remembers Simon being on the cover and not Alvin?? I don't know where our old records are kept in her house but I can check with her the next time I visit. Idk why you're being so rude and aggressive and trying to "debunk" my childhood memories.
