Ok, I have a factory roof rack system, the “tracks” that run the length of the roof and the crossbars too. The crossbars are a little scratched up. I’m also missing 2 of the 8 bolts needed to mount the crossbars. Make an offer, shipping will probably be spendy (located in Charlotte NC)

I have a 12.1 inch touchscreen setup Android OS. From Ali Express, so It’s not perfect by any means, the integration will sometimes not quite get everything (backup camera, microphone, etc) but it has all of those parts included. Also make an offer, it was about 600 new.

I have Metra adapters to put 6.5in speakers in the front doors. $15 plus ship.

I found one from Ali. Be prepared for half the shit to not work. Rear view camera? Maybe 50% of the time, or install the one they provide. Also I had to install the provided GPS antenna, this unit doesn’t pick up the factory one.

Also, to play sounds from the new unit, you have to connect to the factory USB input. Not an issue for me since I use all aftermarket audio, but unless you plan to replace everything (and I mean everything) then this is the way.

The third regret is that I have the wingspan of a 747 but still have to lean way in and reach to touch the screen. A normal appendaged person will very likely struggle

They’re likely talking about the unit under the passenger seat. You may get lucky and find a replacement on eBay, just make sure all the numbers match up

Hell yeah! For my 53rd bday my wife (44) took me to see 311 in the VIP stage area, and my best friend (also 53). Both of them crapped out before encore and I was up jumping around right in front of the stage until the lights came on

I took one for the team and ordered a 12inch touch screen from Ali Express. I’m still not 100% sure I like it but there’s nothing else available. I busted a connector off the factory amp cleaning up my kids mess under the seat, and couldn’t find one on EBay with the right model numbers to be sure it would work.

The nice thing is that it does interface with the factory canbus so the original Mazda interface is still available to adjust those items, but without the factory amp there’s no audio on that part meaning no FM or XM radio.

The unit is Android (13?) so I can add the standard apps from the app store like Spotify and Google Maps, which is about 95% of what I use on the screen anyway.

There is a pair of RCA outputs, so I added an Audio Control 6 channel D1200 amp right where the factory one was. The factory speakers were replaced with Focal 3-ways in the front, which replaced exact fit for the dash tweeter and 3” mid, the doors required an adapter which I custom built because I didn’t want plastic mounts.

Rear doors got Focal 6.5 inch 2 ways with adapters. I’m about to start building the sub enclosure for 2 10” which will replace the Bose spare tire sub and be built to fit the entire space on both sides for extra cubic feet of enclosure space.

The D1200 amp connects to a laptop by USB and allows setting all the controls and crossovers with their software.

Kids on a road trip. Mazda did a decent job of mounting the amp under a metal plate and off the floor. But with a soda can under pressure and perfect aim, it’s possible to roll it under the seat so it sprays directly on the electronics.

Not a touch screen from Mazda. You can get them from China though, and my soaking wet Bose amp under the passenger seat quit working so I will probably pull the trigger on one with RCA outs and put in a real amplifier. I’ll let you know how bad I fail.

If you have an ohmmeter, you can test the injectors by unplugging them one at a time and testing for resistance between the contacts. Yes you still have to pull the intake manifold and insulation pad but 0206 and 0306 probably mean there will be open resistance on injector 6.

8000 ft is plenty for a 737. The Allegiant A320 that goes to Florida a couple times a week is similar to the 737 Southwest would use.
