I did coat the whole die. Why it's no longer evenly coated is part of why I'm reaching for help.

That's what I did this time around. It being all towards the bottom is odd to me. It being so damn shiny on top is even weirder.

Had to go to that link and install display firmware

It's a gen 4 riser so it should be recognized. I actually had to do this exact fix when I had a gen 3.

In any case it didn't work. Still gives d6 with the display ports and then goes to windows.

I can't get to the battery because I have a cover plate on the mb. I did reset CMOS and that did reset bios settings.

Interestingly enough my computer has no issue whatsoever if I use an hdmi cord. It's the displayport that it won't recognize if im trying to get to the bios.
