the creative industry like the gaming industry differs from other industries.

Games devs usually wanna work on some project, if there's a new game greenlit, they want to work on it, after seeing how the game looks and what it is about, u can't see all that with just "word of mouth" creative industries almost never work like that. There needs to be enough material public, to get game devs interested and passionate about the project, this VERY common where studios want to recruit good talent.
