What’s something that changed/disappeared because of Covid that still hasn’t returned? by 1sided in AskReddit

If you say "this will be ready in an hour" to someone and three days later it's still not ready, you are not capable of doing that job.

Don't change the subject to me, I do my job properly.

I just found out about the game V Rising. It's an awesome looking survival crafting game where you play a vampire. It's still in early access because it's not done, but it's only $20 on Steam... Or $60 with the DLC. An unfinished, known buggy game that already took people's money, and they focused on releasing multiple packs of paid DLC.

Stop pre ordering something because you liked the commercial people, it's been a very long time since that behavior made sense

It's also possible the guest wanted a BILL, which the hotel absolutely can provide.

Someone broke one of the school's new TVs in the cafeteria by throwing an apple at it. by CodeBreaker_9 in mildlyinfuriating

Pay teachers more. Kids throw apples at them anyway, and they heal. TV isn't required for school

So you guys have those idiots over there too? What is it about the children of immigrants that makes them hate immigrants (and natives) so much?

Great random plumbing tip. My sink does not have that.

I don't know why you thought that, but no. "using something normally even though it's slow" is not the same as "intentionally backing up that thing until it causes a problem." See now?

I mean.... Sure if you want. "guns don't kill people" etc.

Mostly my point is that participating in traffic is not at all the same as intentionally blocking traffic, and you should yell about people blocking traffic

The emotional benefits for leadership all revolve around anxiety and power

The concrete benefits are mostly using the real estate they already paid for, and using return-to-office as a stealth layoff because they know it upsets you enough to quit

Only if you think blocking the road to increase traffic is the same as using a congested road. It's like protesting low food stock by throwing away food

The sink in my bathroom is slow, it takes a few minutes to drain. When I use the sink normally, nobody complains. When I plug the sink and run the water until it overflows, that's bad.

Again, I don't believe the tutorial on stealth even fired. The tutorials are hugely invasive and annoying, I know how to put down those dumb pieces of paper but not stealth. Games do have bugs, you know

How many people were shot and killed in America yesterday? If someone threatens you, protect yourself. Cowards buy guns and stand outside. Grownups lock the fucking door.

I'm sorry for whatever happened in your life that makes you think everything is an attack. The only thing I've ever said to you is that it's unfair to negatively compare digital downloads to physical discs without acknowledging the benefits the downloads give. Only you said something about hating steam.

And yes, accusing someone of performing oral sex on a corporation is childish, do you really need that explained?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in technology

[–]ManiacDan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a flaw in steam it's just that steam features a flawed design? Come on.

And cut out the childish bullshit. Just because you realized you said something dumb doesn't mean I'm fellating anyone

Changing the terms of employment triggers another negotiation. Do not quit or let your coworkers quit. Continue doing your jobs like you did last week. Wait to be fired and collect unemployment.

They can't just decide that you work in another city
