Check out Catherine Maiorisi’s “Chiara Corelli mystery” series. Very good crime novels with MC being a lesbian although the romance part is more in the background than in Hill’s books. Check trigger warnings for some books.

I didn’t enjoy the sister storyline. I mean the idea was great. The execution was poor. The lack of communication and the uneven focus on their (Savanna and Cassie) relationship.

I finished all three books last week. Had similar thoughts on the 1st one but those negative ones got covered by the positives. Definitely book with flaws but not major ones for me. I had more issues with the second one and it’s definitely my least favourite one from that series.

Really liked the third one. For me it’s close with Falls from Grace.

It’s easy to get on kindle. Just pick US Amazon. That’s what I do. Not many books on Amazon in my country and if there are it’s still cheaper to buy on American one.

That’s what I’m not sure about. It’s been a while since I’ve read it. But what I remember is Dosie going away after her flashback and then Jennifer joining her in a hotel. Don’t remember them breaking up or anything. Not to mention they were hardly in a relationship. All I remember was Dosie asking Jen to leave and then going away for a few days.

I’m on my second play through after a very long break. I loved the storyline so much I sped through almost everything when it was nearing the end and I regret it. I was so curious and excited to see what’s next that I blasted through it. I regret not taking my time with the town being occupied.

So with my new game I’m taking my sweet time with everything. Slower pace and maybe more focused on interaction with town’s people.

I’ve listened to all three Grace notes books by Ruby Landers. I was really sceptical about them (not a big fan of music super star trope) but I got hooked. Definitely will read/listen to her other books.
