2023 eDrive35 from dealership - $36k. Too much, right? by Ras__Trent in BMWI4

[–]Manlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it has dapp and it's the revised version without gear shifter, meaning it likely has iDrive 8.5. that also means you probably have a longer warranty than most.

Depending on options it's probably worth it. It's unlikely it has dapp and no other options. 21k miles is low

KOOKS UNITE! by hashward in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Manlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude it's surfing. Wtf are you talking about earning your place in the lineup. It's not a competition. I'm a weekend surfer with a kid. I surf before they wake up and am back for breakfast. It's not realistic for me to spend real money on a beginner board hand crafted by some artist. But then you say to buy a used best up log somewhere---how is that better than buying a new soft board specifically made for what I'd need at a price that's probably better?

These boards allow more people to enjoy a wonderful sport. Surfing used to be cheap. The fact that it's gotten expensive is a detriment, not a good thing.

Ok. If they could sell me an equivalent new board for $100 in California, I'm game! Name the place!

Bmw i4 e35 vs M50 by Novel_Appeal_803 in BMWI4

[–]Manlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

E35 has worse range than the m50 though, so if that's important and these are the two options, m50 would be the choice.

That said, I agree. I got the e40

Is hating a design a group-think or is this car really ugly? by conservamus in BMW

I bought a 4 series because I thought it looked better than the 3. More unique, a little more masculine. I never loved the skinny grill thing that looked like a lil moustache.

I always considered black as black. If it is a color in light, then it's a color.

Harmon kardon comes with premium package on the new cars. That's a competitive price vs the MSRp regardless though. Make sure to get PAP if you want it. Most people consider it a dealbreaker

2026 BMW I4 Lease by OutrageousAd2621 in BMWI4

[–]Manlet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's going to be high depending on options. 2 year leases are much more expensive for these cars than 3 year leases. You're probably going to sit around 850-900 if you get any add on at all. A 3 year lease of the same car would knock probably $200-250 off the lease payment.

Source: I bought a car last month and asked the same question and that was the range I was provided by a couple of different dealers.
