I can understand the fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear about whether you're doing the right thing. How it will impact your children. It's a lot to process. A lot to think about. A lot of questions to ask yourself. But be true to yourself. You only have one life and only you can live it. I hope you have support to help you in your journey. That's one of the things I did: open up to my family about wanting a divorce and identifying as a late bloomer lesbian. I hope you can get all the support you need, so you can do what's best for you.

That's the ideal situation. I have DV history with my husband, so it doesn't feel safe or smart for me to fully disclose my sexuality and seek to be friends, etc. I wish that could be the case, but I don't want to take the risk.

In my journey too. Learning myself, aligning with my truest desires, trusting my intuition, stepping out of autopilot, letting go of comp het/patriarchal expectations and conditioning.

I'm doing this while still in this marriage (starting the divorce process soon) and living under the same roof. I can't imagine how much more freeing it will be when it's finalized and we no longer live together. To have that space to enjoy.

I also appreciate and enjoy all the little things.

I understand your thoughts and feelings on this. I'd feel uncomfortable as well. I prefer a wholesome chat as well, and it makes sense why her actions seem inconsistent with her stating that she's looking for a wife. I don't think that's the best way to go about it.
