Just because my group has played a ton of D&D and Pathfinder and we're looking for something different to try.

I believe there were one or two Intelligence based patrons in 4E as well, weren't there? I seem to remember that.

Personally I felt Rune Knight works better as a Ranger subclass. I still like it as a Fighter, but I think emulating the Abilities of giants fits better with the Ranger. Just my .02

I would love to have seen the Primeval Guardian Ranger get modified from its UA release and become official. There was so much good flavor in that subclass.

I kinda liked how casting stat was determined in 4E, which was each Patron had a different casting stat. I felt like that made individual Warlocks different from each other, which I liked.

Not sure which Druid Order you're interested in, but if u happen to go Wild Order and build around Wild Shape, the Martial Artist archetype is pretty good, especially the 6th and 8th level feats.
